Thanks to art. 8-ter of the Simplification Decree (D.L. 14 December 2018, n.135, converted into law with L. 11 February 2019, n.12), it is established that the information deposited on the blockchain will have legal value as the amendment approved in the Senate reads verbatim:

"The storage of an IT document through the use of technologies based on distributed registers produces the legal effects of the electronic time stamp referred to in Article 41 of EU Regulation no. 910/2014 »(eIDAS Regulation n.d.r.).

Notarization!! What does it mean?

Notarizing a document in blockchain means guaranteeing the immutability of a document (whoever receives it can verify that it has not been modified) on a certain date.

In practice, however, the physical document, we mean a PDF, DOC or other, is not saved on the blockchain, but a reference to it is saved. That is the 256-bit HASH.
